Ryt Bank

Malware Protection

Protection that starts from your device

Scams today don't just target your account, they target your phone.

Ryt Bank helps detect threats on your device before they can put your money at risk, giving you an added layer of protection every time you log in.

How it works

The security feature helps keep your app experience secure by spotting potential risks on your device and alerting you to review them.

Spot potentially risky apps

The feature detects apps from unofficial sources or apps that could put your device at risk.

Prompt you to review device settings

It highlights device settings, like Accessibility permissions or installations from unknown sources, that may increase risk.

Notify you to take action

You'll be alerted so you can review apps and settings yourself and remove anything you don't recognise or trust.

The scan is fast, seamless, and only alerts you if something needs your attention.

When a potential risk is detected

If a potential risk is found, you'll be notified and temporarily restricted from accessing the app to help keep your account secure.

You'll need to review your device and any apps or settings that may pose a risk. After acknowledging the potential risk or making any changes you deem necessary, you can regain access to the app.

Your privacy matters

Your privacy is never compromised.

The Malware Protection feature does not access, collect, or store your personal data. It only checks for known threat patterns and risky configurations on your device.

Your banking information remains secure and confidential at all times.

Malware protection basics

If apps from unofficial sources or potentially risky apps are detected, you'll be notified when you open the Ryt Bank app.

  • Review the flagged app(s) in your device settings.
